XP-Dev.com Version 40 Beta Testing

Its been a while since I have posted new content on this blog – which is an indicator of the time I’ve spent in the background working full time on XP-Dev.com.

Two days ago, I announced on the XP-Dev.com blog that beta testing sign-up for the new XP-Dev.com platform (Version 40) is open.

The plan is to begin beta testing around 1st August 2009 and do a full release and migration of the whole platform sometime in mid-August 2009.

From the announcement:

Version 40 is not just a normal upgrade – it’s a complete rewrite and a brand new platform that is easier to use, and packed with new features that will accelerate development and delivery of your projects/products. Its a whole new product and service that will be delivered right to your doorstep and you don’t have to do anything to get all the magic.

Head over to the announcement for further details or just head over to the sign-up form to get notified when beta testing has begun.

My compliments for your service. Is nice and quite simple to use.
I hope that the new version will integrate ( or will explain how ) all the “optional” struments ( bug / wiki / .. )
For Example, if the BugId can be retrieved in a “simple” way it can be used to easy integrate into Subversion / TortoiseSVN .

@FinWin – integration of bug tracking and Subversion is part of the new platform

Great ! ..also the feature to export the bug list and to associate to customers ‘ll be nice ( but I know the efforts that there is developing a new version, so if it is not the appropiate moment forget it )

  4. PAX says:

Great! Is new platform a multilingual?

  5. rs says:

@PAX – it won’t be initially, but its based on a web framework that supports internationalisation very easily
